Deep House Prayer

This is a mix for riding rhythm and uplifting your spirit. It is a wave, but the focus is on the sweet spot between groove, release and transcendance. It’s for dancing when you’ve got energy and you want momentum, depth and sweaty surrender.

The music here spans 30 years of Spiritual Deep House productions, from the mid-nineties to 2025. Much of it comes from New York City, and the thread running through all of it is an organic, spiritual approach to the dancefloor. There’s lots of drums (congas, djembes) instruments and some sublime vocals, all of which brings a really warm feel to the power of the grooves. You’ll also hear calls and sung invocations to various Orishas, the deities of Yoruba and Santeria religion, as well as some Christian gospel influence. Bascially this is music made for communing with the spirits and the Spirit .

Make some space, connect with everything that supports you, breathe, and let’s get down!
Enjoy.

Peace out

C

P.S. The second part of the long first track is a drum workout that works well for Body Parts if you are wanting to do that. (Listen out for the piano finishing, a ripple sound and then drop into just drums)
