PREPARATION
1
LISTEN TO THE VOICE MESSAGE FROM CHRISTIAN
(the first track on the audio player above)
2
HAVE A DANCE
(using the 17min DJ mix on the audio player above)
This short wave is a 17minute practice to awaken your dancing aliveness 🙂
Have water and warmth to hand. Set your devices to do not disturb!
2. Take a moment to relax and arrive in the space
3. Press PLAY on the audio player
4. Breathe… and Move, simply following the music as your guide and letting the dance emerge
5. When the music is finished: if possible, take a moment to land and integrate your experience.
If you’re in my Patreon membership (The Home Dancing Project) you may be familiar with this mix; if not it will be a new resource for you. Come to it fresh either way!

CONTEMPLATE THESE QUESTIONS:
What is the dance, for you?
How is life dancing with you, in this current time?
What is your dream; your prayer?
Your contemplation could involve sitting or moving, writing or simply just holding these questions in awareness in the time leading up to the workshop.
DANCEFLOOR PROTOCOLS
Please familiarise yourself with the Protocols we use for the dance space
– which you can find HERE. Your participation in the workshop will be taken as agreement to align with these core principles.
Thank you!
WHAT TO BRING:
1) loose, comfortable clothes to dance in
(temperature may vary so wearing layers you can easily add or remove is good)
Note: the floor is a little on the hard side, so you may wish to wear dancing shoes or grippy socks (no slippy socks though please)
2) a refillable water bottle (no disposable plastic please)
3) a white candle (for Sunday – something like this)
4) food for lunch (healthy, easily-digestible is good) – and some to share if you like to.
Jardim da Estrela, a lovely park, is nearby with cafes and shops close too.
Be aware we may break later than your usual lunch time so have a good breakfast.
Teas and some snacks (fruit/nuts) will be available.
5) notebook & pen / art materials
6) desire to dance!
