Bring Movement to the Situation

Yes! Welcome back! You’ll be landing here from the second email introducing Glimpses of Light and my offerings. (The first page and DJ mix are here if you didn’t get to it yet)

The invitation here is to have a dance and go deeper into movement as meditation practice.
Here is a simple half-hour practice, with curated music and spoken guidance to take you through a Wave, the essential form of the 5Rhythms.

This is how it works:
1, Make some time to move – this could be in the morning to start the day, in the evening to wind down and integrate, or anytime you can find a moment. Maybe right now 🙂
2, Clear a patch of dancefloor in your space and ensure it’s safe to move.
3, Use the best speakers or headphone you have available for sound.
4, Press PLAY >> and let your dance emerge…
5, Afterwards, if possible, take a moment to land, relax and complete before you continue your day.
Enjoy!

There’s two versions, one with spoken guidance and one with only music. (There’s also a tracklist below) Use whichever you like, and feel free to try both!

Bring the Dance Home

This is one of 150+ DJ Mixes, Guided Practices and other recordings that I’ve made for The Home Dancing Project, a membership for dancers. I create new ones and send them out exclusively to members every month.

Check it out with a 7-Day Free Trial and get instant access to the library. There are three tiers offering different levels of benefits: it’s designed to be useful, flexible and affordable.

CHECK OUT THE HOME DANCING PROJECT FOR FREE

OK that’s it for now. You’ll receive more info, invitations and vibes from the emails. In the meantime you can find the calendar and much more all on the rest of the website.

Please feel free to reach out via contact@glimpsesoflight.art if you have questions or feedback – or want to share from an experience from the dance.

Enjoy your day!
