The Postcards from Babylon Album is original music with spoken word versions of the book texts; this mix was an earlier DJ invitation to dancers for exploring their own urban alchemy of the kind described and invoked in the Book.

It’s a mix for bringing embodied movement to the intense energy of the cities and the world that we live in, to move through shadow and light, oppression and freedom, all the while finding the ways that transformation moves and lives in the body, the breath and the rhythm.

It’s a kind of a strong mix so give it a strong space. Probably best for dancing at night.
