Ethics & Values

I am committed to embodying four core principles:

Being human is always a work-in-progress and I see integrity as a living process rather than an outcome. Within that acknowledged reality, my work is rooted in a fierce commitment torespect, love, equality and celebratory inclusivity – across the intersectional spectrums of gender, race, class, ability, age and species. 

I seek to cultivate the self-awareness and deep listening necessary to live these princples and core values. To catch my blind spots, cultivate skillful relationship and shine a light for others as much as I can. Liberation is a collective fire that warms all, and that we ignite in countless moments of presence and conscious action.

Codes of Practice
More formally speaking, I am member of the ICMTA (International Conscious Movement Teachers Association), the AU (Artists Union), the 5RTA (5Rhythms Teachers’ Association) and the MMA (Movement Medicine Association) and I seek to align with and abide by their respective codes of ethics and working practice.

Music Usage
I buy all the music that I play at events, on radio and in recordings, where possible giving my business to platforms that return the highest proportion of income to the artists. I also hold licences with PPL and PRS for music usage In the Room and Online, which theoretically funnels money back to the artists.
