DESCRIPTION: The dancefloor is a place where our souls awaken… \nDancing brings us into Body: this physicality is our living vessel for everything.Moving in the landscapes of the Heart\, we can feel more and metabolise our emotions – freeing up the energy that lives inside them. Exploring Mind as a embodied phenomenon brings us into creative and conscious relationship with what is real. \nGabrielle Roth defined the Soul as the alignment (or integration) of Body\, Heart and Mind together. Movement enables this possibility and liberates us to become more of who we are. Coming to dance and do this freedom work together has its own particular potency. What is an Immersion? \nImmersions are a way to dive deep into the dance. They give time for experiential study of movement as meditation practice. They give space to the natural\, healing and creative process that unfolds on the dancefloor. And they ignite the possibility of surrendering to the ecstatic experience that is dancing for long periods of time! \nWe will work and play with the core movement maps of The Way of the Dancer\, Christian’s fusionary approach to the dancefloor\, which integrates 5Rhythms and Movement Medicine with Taoist practice\, Animist perspectives and other embodied pathways. \nWe dance solo\, we move with others and we explore as a group.We gather with a basis of respect and celebration of all bodies\, expressions and ways of moving.We use these protocols as a foundation for a strong\, safe container \nThe journey will include an invitation to prepare before the workshop\, and resources to support you to integrate the experience into everyday life. \nAll bodies welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Come into your space and make it a dancefloor.Drop into body\, breath and music.Follow movement… \nWe connect across timezones to dance and illuminate the moment.Moving with whatever is in process in our lives and in our world. Cultivating inner light and life force through movement – that we may shine\, and be in service to all beings in their shining.Luminance will be an online dance space held in a mostly monthly rhythm. \nI bring energy\, movement teachings and some simple facilitation. I offer a specially curated blend of deep and subtle music medicine to create a strong\, open container. All this comes into your space via Zoom wherever you are\, to use and dance into embodied\, soulful consciousness. \nAnyone is welcome to attend on a drop-in basis\, whilst Members on Tier 3 participate for free. \nMaps: Luminance is held using The Way of the Dancer\, an evolving synthesis of conscious dance and movement meditation practice. We use and integrate teachings from 5Rhythms\, Movement Medicine\, Taoist practice\, Animist perspectives and other aligned embodied pathways. \n \nLuminance Dates in 2025: 21 Jan\, 25 Feb\, 25 March\, 22 April\, 20 May\, 24 June\, 29 July\, 23 Sep\, 21 Oct\, and 25 Nov. 10 Live Events a Year. DESCRIPTION:New Recordings are released every month early on Saturday morning.Sometimes this will be a dance journey with two versions: a guided practice and a music-only DJ mix. Sometimes it will be another combination of practice recordings\, music and other resources to support autonomous movement practice.You can stream the recordings through the Glimpses of Light and Patreon websites – or you can take them offline using the Patreon app or a podcast app like Apple. Tier 2&3 Members receive email notifications when the releases drop.To become a member\, click HERENote: the membership was originally called The Dancefloor Jedi Project: early 2025 sees an uplevel into The Home Dancing Project with new offerings included.
