DESCRIPTION:Dancing awakens us to the fact that we are alive. It ignites joy\, brings medicine into the cells of our being and helps us metabolise what we’re living through. On the dancefloor we remember who we are and what we offer to the world. \nWhat is it to be a dancer? To really dance\, feel the music and open to the amazing and vast experience of body-spirit consciousness? How do we do that\, on the dancefloor and in our everyday lives? \nThe Way of the Dancer is an invitation to dance deep and explore ecstatic movement as a meditation practice for our times. We will learn core practices from 5Rhythms and Movement Medicine\, exploring how they help and inspire us to connect – with ourselves\, each other and the wider fields of community and world. We will move through a dancing ceremony to give thanks for life. \n

Creator of the legendary Sweaty Thursdays in London\, he is trained in both 5Rhythms and Movement Medicine and has over 20 years experience of faciltiating\, DJing and holding ritual. SUMMARY:Music is the Healing Force of the Universe
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for another very special dancing journey into sound. We’ll be weaving together diverse musical lineages: leaning into conscious dance maps\, underground subcultures and the time-honoured human ritual of communing in rhythm\, melody and togetherness. All bodies welcome. \nSCHEDULE\n1. Entering the embodied listening space + first musical journey\, with Felix2. Elements of Music: experiential practice\, with Christian3. Break for rest\, integration and connection4. Two-hour music-led ritual dance journey\, with Christian.5. Integration time \nThis is a music-focussed\, DJ-led\, facilitated deep dance space. We will move through multiple genres\, time periods and lineages\, spanning electronic\, instrumental and organic music. There will be some teaching of maps that support dancers to go deeper into music. The journeys will also include a little microphone flow to offer pathways through the sound\, invite your embodied full presence and facilitate an optimum experience for all.
